Define, measure, analyze, improve, and control all operational aspects and lead continuous improvement activities within the plant to deliver planned results. Report, monitor, and implement key performance metrics and take appropriate fact based actions to correct performance gaps. Train and support plant staff to establish and maintain customer focus, driving departmental performance to satisfy customer requirements and meet business plan requirements. Manage the workforce to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage all associate relations activities regarding safety and health, discipline, training, and other related issues. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience as a Plant Manager or 5 years experience as an Assistant Plant Manger in the food industry. Candidate must have extensive experience in planning, organizing, team building, coaching, mentoring, problem solving, leadership and motivational skills. Applicant must be detail-oriented and have a strong financial background. Candidate should have experience managing a team of 50 or more employees.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>QDC Plastics currently has two openings for a Machine Operator.  This position requires the employee to operate the Blowmold machines to achieve the maximum efficiencies and quality in a safe manner. The following are part of the work requirements: Perform minor repairs and change overs. Start and stop all machines safely. Straighten parisons, adjust tails (know difference on each machine). Adjust and change blow pins and blow pin heads as directed. Drain water filters daily on all machines. Quality control (drop test, leakers, appearance, hourly checks). Weigh and make weight adjustments. Maintain work place (clean catwalks and floors, orderly, safe). Check regrind bins and keep grinding caught up and check periodically. Check and clean hopper filters. Currently an opening is available on first and second shift.   </p>
<p>This requires previous plastics blow mold experience.</p>

•	Meet with team members in order to drive the product development process.<br />
•	Identify, develop, and report new products/innovations in support of business unit objectives.<br />
•	Identify new product and new business opportunities within existing brands/categories.<br />
•	Study methods to improve aspects of food such as chemical composition, flavor, color, and nutritional value.<br />
•	Coordinate the development of new products for flavor, color, nutritional content, and adherence to government, company policy, and industry standards.<br />
•	Demonstrate products and make presentations (cuttings, samples) of results and recommendations to various groups, both internally and externally<br />
•	Manage project and resources to ensure priority projects are being completed on a timely and cost effective basis.<br />
•	Writes and edits reports and regular updates to provide concise summaries of project work.<br />
•	Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives via formulation revision, process improvement, and qualification of alternative suppliers.<br />
•	Investigate ingredient and process innovations through suppliers and technical literature.<br />
•	Evaluate food processing and storage operations, assist in the development assurance programs for such operations.<br />
•	Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.<br />
•	Develop food standards and specifications.<br />
•	Ensure the work environment is sanitary, safe, and orderly based on MIOSHA, FDA and Dept. of Agriculture rules and regulations </p>
<p>Requirements Include:<br />
•	Bachelors Degree in Food Science<br />
•	2+ year’s supervisory experience in R&amp;D.<br />
•	Fried and baked experience a must.<br />
•	Demonstrated knowledge in ingredient technology, food science and food processing required.<br />
•	Proficient in written and oral communication skills. </p>
